About Mary-Rose Dias

Hi! I’m Mary-Rose, welcome to this heart-centred space.

I am a Positive Psychologist (MSc) and a Coaching Psychologist (MSc) as well as an 800 hour + Certificate IV yoga and meditation teacher.

Originally from New Zealand, I have also lived in Hawaii and Australia and am now currently settled in vibrant, beachy, Brighton, UK.

I have a huge passion for helping people to create positive changes in their lives. I believe that through the use of evidence-based psychology practices, meaningful coaching and ancient yogic wisdom I can support individuals and groups to overcome obstacles, release fearful and limiting beliefs and live a life of happiness, ease and abundance.

My passion for well-being is reflected through my education, qualifications and experience in the field. I have a B.A. in Psychology and Education from Victoria University, Wellington (NZ) and an M.Sc. in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London (UK). I have taught yoga and meditation all over the world including in New Zealand, Australia, Hawaii, Ireland and the U.K. I have completed numerous trainings and have received several qualifications in yoga and meditation including my 800 hours Certificate IV from the Byron Yoga Centre in Byron Bay Australia. On top of this I spent six years working as a counsellor for the organisation Youthline, NZ which is a crisis line supporting young people in need. During this time I took up several additional roles including as a trainer, supervisor, mentor and facilitator for personal development.
