Cancellation Policy

Appointments with Mary Rose Dias are scheduled in advance, and are a time reserved exclusively for you and your well-being. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, it is requested that you offer as much notice as possible so that somebody else can take this space.

Late cancellations incur inevitable and significant business costs. For this reason, cancelled appointments will be charged the full session fee, unless you notify me before 9am the business day prior to the day of your appointment.

This means that, for appointments booked on Wednesday, the cancellation/reschedule must be made before 9am the Tuesday prior to avoid the session fee. Weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and public holidays do not count as business days, therefore, Monday appointments (and Tuesday appointments after a public holiday) must be cancelled/rescheduled before 9am the Friday prior to avoid the session fee.

Please consider this the minimum notice period. More notice where possible is much appreciated.

Where possible, please make cancellations/reschedules through Calendly, as this reduces admin time and more quickly frees up the space for other clients. This is especially helpful when changes are made close to the date and/or outside of business hours. For information on how to cancel/reschedule your appointment directly through calendly, please see here.

Please note that in-person appointments may be moved online at any time for no added cost. For practical reasons, some notice is appreciated where possible i.e. at least one hour.

Cancellations, COVID-19 and other sudden illness

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or any reason to believe that you may have been exposed to COVID-19, an in-person session will not be available. Please follow advice and guidance outlined by The Ministry of Health and then contact me to let me know you are not able to meet in-person. An online session using zoom will be made available to you to replace your in-person session.

If you suddenly fall ill, with COVID-19, or another illness, and are too unwell to attend your appointment (including online) and you are unable to give the minimum notice, you may reschedule your appointment and apply to have your session fee waived. To request a waiver of your session fee, please ensure your appointment has been rescheduled and then complete this form.
