Personal Statement
I am a passionate and dedicated psychology practitioner and coach with a background in counselling, education, yoga and meditation. I have a huge passion for health, wellbeing, education, learning and supporting other people, and I have over ten years experience working in these fields. I have an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London, a BA in Psychology and Education from Victoria University, Wellington as well as six years experience working as a phone counsellor, training facilitator and mentor for the organisation Youthline, NZ. My passion for supporting others to live well using psychology, yoga, coaching and meditation has lead to me studying and teaching all over the world including New Zealand, Hawaii, Australia, Ireland, Czech Republic and the UK. My work includes offering personal coaching as well as creating and delivering workshops, trainings, courses and educational resources. I enjoy both working on my own, and in collaboration with others, and have been invited to present at various different organisations worldwide. My research on the relationship between yoga and positive psychology was accepted to be presented at the European Conference for Positive Psychology in Iceland in 2020 and 2022.

Interests
I am hugely passionate about wellbeing and I love practicing and sharing positive psychology, yoga, meditation and philosophy within and outside of my work time. I am also a creative individual and I love writing and the performing arts. My background in theatre, acting and dance has supported me to feel comfortable speaking and presenting to large audiences and I have received vocal training to project my voice. I also love spending time in nature, swimming in the ocean and am an avid reader.
